#WhatWouldYouGive – ALS Therapy Development

Hi guys,

As a new blogger I’ve been able to team up with the influencer group, Linqia!

Remember everyone did the ice bucket challenge?  It raised awareness for ALS?  Everyone was doing it!

Well Linqia has provided an excellent sponsored pro-bono opportunity to help spread the word of ALS Therapy Development and a new drug AT-1501, a very promising drug that is still in clinical trial but is needing funding to help expedite their trajectory, and fast.

Fortunately I have not had to personally encounter ALS, however unfortunately I have friends who have.

Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (also known as ALS, Lou Gehrig’s disease, or motor neuron disease) is a disease that gradually paralyzes people because the brain is no longer able to communicate with the muscles of the body that we are typically able to move at will. Over time, as the muscles of the body break down, someone living with ALS will lose the ability to walk, talk, eat, swallow, and eventually breathe. – als.ca

So I encourage you all to brush up on your knowledge of ALS and the possibilites of the new drug.  Also if you are inclined, make a donation!  I know that anything, big or small, helps.
