Summer is quickly approaching and there is really no shortage of things to do!  I live in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and if you know anything about our climate, it’s mega stupid cold in the winter (talking -45C) for about 5-7 months, we skip spring, and then summer hits us with beautiful temps of 25-40C. I don’t know about you, but I really want to take advantage of summer while it lasts.

So I’ve compiled a list with a bunch of great ideas to do this summer!

  1. Go for a bike ride
  2. Grab a drink on a patio
  3. Find a good hike outside of your city
  4. Visit the zoo
  5. Check out the farmers markets
  6. Have a yard sale
  7. Picnic!
  8. Hang out at the beach
  9. Listen to some great music at an outdoor concert / music festivals
  10. Have a BBQ
  11. Volunteer (walks, fundraisers, bbq, etc)
  12. See a movie at the drive in
  13. Eat some delicious ice cream
  14. Outdoor movies (normally in parks)

  16. Thrift store shopping
  17. Visit a night market
  18. Set off some fireworks in a field
